Frequently Asked Questions
I have body aches, pains and/or dysfunction and I'm not sure what to do. Can you help?
The spine is the central structure that supports so much of what you do and if it's dysfunctional some chiropractic care is often a wonderful starting point. Chiropractic care is low cost, low intervention, low risk, and works with the body's natural ability to heal. So come get the care you need in a simple and economical way. Consultations are always no charge. (If you need immediate medical attention please call 911 or go directly to the emergency room.)
How long will it take to get better?
Sometimes we see improvement (or even resolution) after just one visit. Most problems should begin to respond by the end of the third visit. Now, that's not complete improvement of your problem but we should be seeing clear signs that our care could get the problem resolved. If you have a problem that goes longer than three visits and we have made progress in the first three visits more care will likely be helpful. It's very important to note that we don't want anyone to keep coming in if they feel it's not helping their current problem. If we aren't helping we want to get you to someone who hopefully can help you.
Do you take insurance?
No, we do not participate in any insurance plans. We can provide you with documentation regarding your care that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement based on your insurance policy. We do this because it lowers our costs and in turn your cost to see us. It also lets YOU decide what care you want instead of someone at the insurance company, who doesn't know your specific circumstance, dictate what you can and can't do.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Cards (debit, credit, Flex, HSA)
Who can be seen by a chiropractor?
The short answer is anybody with a spine may benefit from seeing a chiropractor. Our job is to help the spine be pain free, move better, and function more normally in order to improve your quality of life. We have methods and experience to care for many circumstances and all ages, from birth to those near the end of their life journey. Remember, consultations are free. If your not sure if we are the right place for you just stop by the office or call us (319-213-6067). We'll let you know whether we think we can help or if you need some other type of care. We are here to help even if that means getting you to someone else.
